Mr. Adini is a former California Registered Environmental Assessor Levels I & II (1988-2012), a Registered Environmental Professional with the National Registry for Environmental Professionals, and State of California Licensed General Engineering, Building, Hazardous Substance Removal and Asbestos Contractor. Mr. Adini holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, with additional academic credits in chemical and nuclear engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology (Class of 1964).
From 1964 through 1977, Mr. Adini supervised the construction, operation and maintenance of various nuclear, chemical and academic facilities.
Between 1977 and 1987, Mr. Adini practiced in the design, construction and start-up of chemical processing plants (polyester, flue gas desulphurization, phosphoric acid, boric acid, potash, alcohol and treatment of hazardous waste water from metal plating and finishing facilities).
In 1987, Mr. Adini started his first company, Ami Adini & Associates, Inc., and proceeded to become a leading expert in the assessment and remediation of impacted soil and groundwater. He has personally managed over 2,000 projects of assessment and remediation, removal of thousands of petroleum and chemical storage tanks, and constructed scores of refueling stations.
