Total Cleanup

Ami Adini & Associates, Inc. (AA&A), in joint venture with EKCO™–Rejuvenate® (EKCO), has just completed the cleanup of a 3000 square foot section of an industrial real estate parcel in Los Angeles, the future home of a private high school. The subsurface soil was contaminated with gasoline and volatile organic compounds down to 60 feet below ground surface, in a lithology of stiff clay and silt.

All contaminants were reduced to “not-detectable” (ND) levels across the board and the task was completed in less than 60 days on the basis of a 100% performance-guarantied, fixed cost contract! 

These unprecedented results were accomplished through a cutting edge application of an “In Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO)” technology developed by EKCO and performed under oversight of Los Angeles County Fire Department Health HazMat Division Site Mitigation Unit (SMU) and the California Water Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Region (LARWQCB).  

No Further Action (NFA) letters were awarded by the SMU and LARWQCB in just 90 days after start of the cleanup. 

AA&A and EKCO have now committed to the creation of “Rejuvenate Performance Company (RPC)” dedicated to the application of EKCO technology to the end of Total Cleanup of hitherto unresolved environmental blights, on the basis of fixed cost with commitment to predetermined time and target cleanup levels.
