Series 12 – The Incredible Underground Storage Tank

This is the twelfth in a series of light, short and visual talks on taking control of environmental-risk concerns that haunt otherwise lucrative transactions in commercial and industrial properties, and even residences.


Hexavalent Chromium also known as Chromium-6, when dissolved in water, can be highly toxic. And one would not usually expect to encounter 4000 gallons of water laced with this substance inside a 70-years old gasoline tank buried on a property with no knowledge of owners that purchased the place 40 years back: especially when the place is in an escrow moving to close and the tank has corrosion holes that you can push a head through.
