Dry Cleaners Contamination

Dry cleaners traditionally used, and many are still using, cleaning compounds that are carcinogenic, most notorious is the perchloroethylene, also known as perc and other names.

Old practices were not careful in preventing spills, and these spills, in the ground volatilize and travel far and pose the risk of entering inhabited spaces. The presence of dry cleaning solvents in the subsurface can be identified fast and economically.
