Environmental Site Assessments
This is where we take samples from soil, from soil-gas (also known as soil vapor) indoor air, and groundwater. Site assessment are usually done under oversight of regulatory agencies, and the goal is to secure a “No Further Action (NFA)” letter from the regulator.
Site assessment are usually a precursor to remediation (cleanup) of the impacted medium. They also get done at various stages of the
remediation, all the way to the end.
They can involve drilling deep holes, installing wells, repeat sampling of groundwater, sometime for years, monitoring of indoor air, and more. It can be expensive. Call us and we can assist you to know ahead of time what to expect.
